You can now link your IRC account to your server account. This is done to get your voice on #wwv.echo.
To link your IRC account to your server account, make sure to follow these steps:
- Join the echo channel (#wwv.echo)

Make sure you register an IRC account:

Once you are registered, you need to send the following command to our bot (Ped):
!link <IRC account> <server account ID> <server account password>
To message the bot, use the following command:
/PRIVMSG Ped !link <IRC account> <server account ID> <server account password>

Once typed in correctly, you will get a response based on your input. Mind that:
- You need to have an account on IRC and on the server with a valid unique account ID.
- You need to provide the correct server account password.
- You must have at least spent 2 hours on the server before being able to get a voice.
- Your account should not be banned and/or disabled.
To unlink your current linked IRC account from the server account, follow these steps:
Unlinking may be helpful in case you need to change your IRC account nick
- Join one of our channel (look above).

You need to send the following command to our bot (Ped):
!unlink <IRC account> <server account ID> <server account password>
To message the bot, use the following command:
/PRIVMSG Ped !unlink <IRC account> <server account ID> <server account password>

Once typed in correctly, you will get a response based on your input. Mind that:
- You must already have a linked account.
- You need to provide the correct server account password.
Message Syntax
- IRC account
- Your IRC account nickname
- server account ID
- Your server unique account ID
- server account password
- Your account password (used to identifying you)
We will never ask you for your IRC account password, this is not our property nor we have the right to know it.
DO NOT TYPE IN THE COMMAND ON A CHANNEL. MAKE SURE TO SEND IT TO THE BOT BY PREPENDING /PRIVMSG Ped TO IT OR ELSE EVERYONE WHO IS ONLINE ON THE CHANNEL WILL BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR PASSWORD!
